Vision Curvettes

When a Gracey-type does not access as desired, Vision Curvettes (or short, highly curved mini-type designs from other brands) can improve furcation access and deep anterior pockets on narrow roots (Figure 22). Design features often include (Figures 23-25):

  • Approximately 50% shorter blade

  • Increased blade curvature

  • Straighter shank

  • Identification mark for cutting edge

  • 5-10 mm shank markings

  • Longer shanks on posterior instruments (approximately 3 mm)

Available as a modified set (e.g., Sub-0, 1/2, 11/12, 13/14).
