Diamond Coated File Scalers

Diamond-coated file scalers are conical and designed for furcation areas, with medical-grade diamond coating around the tip (360 degrees). Use only with loose tissue or exposed furcations. Light back-and-forth strokes remove calculus in the furcation (Figures 40-41).

Examples: Nabers-style paired ends (universal furcation access); mesial concave / distal convex designs for line angles and deep grooves (Figures 42-46).
